Eden still lists both sugar beet and Yellow Eckendorf, a yellow mangel type.

You are looking for a type of fodder beet. The closest I know is the one available from Eden Seeds  Yellow Eckendorf is a Mangel and wurzel is an old english word, probably for beet or turnip.
