Dear All,
Hi from Marianne. Recently I statred the Menai High School Seed grouop. Somehow I managed to forget to put in an offer to SSN, so I have a bit of seed to swap. If you have seed to swap or give away, email, or just seed a pack to me at M. Lavidis 65 Ferrier Drive Menai 2234.( My home address as the holidays mean the parcel my not get to me for a while). Or you can visit the school doing school hours; we are at Illawong. Rind Me on 95434724 (home) 95437000 (school). We want any seed really, as the years sevens at our school group autumn and spring vegetables.
Recently, we had the Gifted and Talented Primay student do a workshop of seed; lifecycle etc using our seed saving crops.
I have green pea, purple podded snow pea and China Rose Radish and a bit of other things.
Thanks in advance,

You are looking for a type of fodder beet. The closest I know is the one available from Eden Seeds Yellow Eckendorf is a Mangel and wurzel is an old english word, probably for beet or turnip.
