Hi Folks, I'm finding some old emails I haven't picked up on before. I do have seed for NG / Guada / Long 'Bean' It's actually a gourd, not a legume. I also have seed for a white Popping sorghum. Let me know if you still need some. ExSeedingly Yours, Mazza Verdante, Mazza's Seeds Alive ! Myself and partner Kelly are going up to local primary school today for a talk about seed savers and to hand over the first of Shoalhaven Local Seed Savers Network grant to schools to help them start or expand their chemical free school feasting garden. The money comes from donations from our monthly market stall at Tomerong. We are also giving seed, seedlings, poster and any technical advise. We had a great day at the last market with our seed resources being stretched. Some of the requests we had from people we could not help was for New Guines Bean (Guada?), wheat, old fashion brown bunching shallots and sorghum. Not too sure about grwoing on some of these!!! Does anyone know of that particular bean. If anyone has extra seed and could send it to (Shoalhaven Seed Savers PO Box 1077 Tomerong NSW 2540) it would be greatly appreciated as we have some big markets and garden fairs coming up (Tomerong every 3rd Saturday, Berry Garden Fair 28thj Sept. and Merrogal Fair 16th Nov). yours in growing today for seedier tomorrow Gerard Proust Kelly Upton Shoalhaven Seed Savers Network _______________________________________________ Localseed-discuss mailing list Localseed-discuss@mailman.communityfoods.com.au http://www.mailman.communityfoods.com.au/mailman/listinfo/localseed-discussHome | Main Index | Thread Index
