Hello fellow
Seedies!
A friend emailed me with the following
request. Can anyone out there help out ~ I have not had these before and
would be interested in getting some for both my friend & myself, if
possible.
>Hi Maz,
>I was wondering if you could help me,
I am looking for the "tweed wonder" bean seed which I got from my uncle and
grew for a long time, yet with moving around I lost the seed and I am keen to
get >some more. I thought you might be the best person to ask. I am keen to
buy some if you have any or know of someone who would have
it.
.
>The bean grew as a dwarf bush approx. 2 foot high,
the pod was green and grew appros 6-8inch long, the dried bean was
brown/red in colour with a white dot, you ate the green pod, Our
great uncle Roy >grew them in Bellingen on a north facing hill side and
sold them in Sydney as the first beans of the spring season, He passed on the
seed but after 20 years have now lost them.
>Would be great if you find out any news or even
better some seed.
>Look forward to hearing from
you
>regards, Julie
