Hi Paula,
Spun polyester is available from Green Harvest and sometimes Bunnings.
It isn't very good for bagging blossoms IMHO as it gets caught on branches, rough bark, broken twigs etc. I tried using it for tomatoes but did away with it in favour of curtain netting made into bags. The spun polyester bags got caught on the fine tomato flower stems and broke them easily!
For caging plants however a spun polyester cover over a frame would work well, especially for wind pollinated plants. I intend using it next season for caging chillies, capsicums and eggplants.
Hope this helsp,
Ray South

the american book 'seed to seed' by suzanne ashworth describes a spun polyester fabric which goes by the name of 'reemay' in the states. Does anyone know where to find an equivalent here in Oz ? or any ideas on other fabrics which can be susbstituted for spun polyester when bagging blossoms or caging plants

thanks
